Jackie and Adrian vying for Australian Champion of Champions glory
The Australian Champion of Champions men’s and women’s singles winners for 2020 will be crowned at an event this coming week.
South Australia will be represented by Jackie Field, of Rosewater, in the women’s competition and Adrian Green, of Adelaide, in the men’s.
The event is being held in Dandenong, Victoria, on Wednesday (24th) and Thursday (25th) this week, with all states and territories represented besides Western Australia.
The competitions are run in a round robin format over the two days, with the winners being the players that finish on top of their respective ladders.
The last South Australian to win the national event was Scott Thulborn, who took out the men’s title in 2014 and 2015, while the last South Australian female to claim the title was Rina Bradbrook in 2010.
