State All Abilities Championships a Success
The State All Abilities Championships returned under the Bowls SA banner this weekend, and despite tough weather conditions, the event was a resounding success.
The ID Singles competition saw tight sectional play, before Balaklava’s Jarrad Olsen defeated Croydon’s Dean Leedham in a thrilling final.

The Para Singles also saw some nail-biting sectional matches, with the final between Tom Gibbs, of Encounter Bay, and Morphett Vale’s Mike Emberton unfortunately unable to be played due to rain.
In a great sign of sportsmanship, the players decided to split the result and agreed to call the final a draw.
