Nominations for 2022 SA Super League draft open
As of Thursday, July 15, nominations for the draft for the 2022 SA Super League season will be officially open.
The SA Super League is heading into its fourth season, with plenty of exciting moves being undertaken to ensure this is the biggest and best season yet.
Nominations for the draft open on Thursday, July 15, and will run through until August 15.
The eight franchises will have squads of 16 this season, including their under 18 players, and they will have to retain six players from their squads last season, with an even number of male and female players in those retained.
The SA Super League sees the top players from across the state go head to head in a fast and exciting format.
The upcoming season will be held over February and March 2022 and you can see the dates as part of the 2021/22 Bowls SA State Event Calendar by clicking here.
The season will be a mixture of Friday night games and Sunday afternoon double headers, with a match of the round each week to be livestreamed via the Bowls SA Facebook page.
While the Salisbury Bowling Club will be the home base for the competition once again, we will be taking some matches on the road across metropolitan and country South Australia.
